On June 26th and 27th members of Sullivan County A.R.E.S. activated the Loch Sheldrake Fireman’s
Park in order to participate in the ARRL’s national Field Day Emergency Communications Exercise.

Simplex Drill 2021
On Saturday, April 10th, members of Sullivan County A.R.E.S. deployed to conduct a county-wide emergency communications drill. Simplex communications on both VHF and NVIS on HF were utilized, establishing cross-county communications without repeaters or other infrastructure. A radiogram message was prepared and distributed to all drill participants.
