Sullivan County ARES is active in the Parks On The Air program. It’s a great way to practice portable operating, learn new skills, and have fun at the same time. In August of 2026 Sullivan County ARES activated Lake Superior State Park. It was a super fun day. We always use the HAM2K POLO logging software created by our very own KI2D to log our contacts. For this activation, we also had the newly constructed K2FAZ Emergency Communications Trailer. Good Stuff!
